There is a regular passenger ferry service from Normandy (journey time - 45 minutes) and Guernsey (journey time 1 hour) to Alderney, provided by Manche Iles Express (tel: 0825 131 050 from France; www.manche-iles-express.com). The Lady Maris II ferry (tel: +44 7781 101 971; www.alderneygiftbox.com) travels between Alderney and Cherbourgon Wednesdays and Saturdays. HD Ferries link Alderney with Guernsey, and Cherbourg in France (www.hd.ferries.org). There are also several charter boats.
